Non-Surgical Skin Tightening

Sometimes, it’s the details that matter most. Especially when it comes to your face, feeling like anyone only sees certain areas can take a toll on your confidence. Although surgery is an effective way to refine areas like the eyes or brow, not everyone is willing or able to undergo surgery. This means that mini-surgical options like AccuTite™ can be an excellent way to improve small, fine areas of the face without the need for downtime or risks.

What is AccuTite?

AccuTite uses the same revolutionary technology as the minimally invasive device used for BodyTite™ with a micro-incision and radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to reduce small pockets of excess fat and tighten loose or sagging skin.

Radiofrequency energy comes with a couple benefits— firstly, it can liquefy fat cells to easily remove pockets of fat like eye bags, a double chin, and jowls. Secondly, radiofrequency (RF) energy generates gentle heat to tighten skin and stimulate new collagen production. This means that AccuTite treatments can be an extremely effective option for a mini-surgical eyelid lift, removing a double chin, and flattening fatty jowls. The overall effect is tighter, smoother skin for a rejuvenated profile free of fatty tissue.

AccuTite Candidates

Patients who benefit most from AccuTite are those looking for effective anti-aging, skin tightening treatments that don’t require surgical incisions or extensive downtime. AccuTite can be a great option for mild to moderate wrinkles and sagging fat, but Dr. Diktaban can assess whether a surgical procedure may be more in line with your goals. For example, if you have significant sagging or laxity, you may need a facelift or brow lift for best results. As with any cosmetic procedure, you should be in good overall health to be considered a candidate for AccuTite.

What Happens During AccuTite?

AccuTite can be performed with local anesthesia or light sedation at our certified, in-house facility. Once you’re comfortable, a tiny, undetectable incision is made so that a specialized handpiece with an electrode can be inserted under the skin. The electrode administers RF energy to generate heat, liquefying fat cells and causing contraction. It also monitors the temperature to ensure the surrounding skin isn’t damaged.

Depending on your treatment areas, this can take from fifteen minutes to one hour. Afterward, you’ll be made ready for your recovery and return home.

Results and Recovery

Compared to full surgical treatments designed to combat skin sagging, AccuTite has very minimal downtime. You can expect to take one or two days away from work after AccuTite treatment. You’ll experience some minor redness and swelling at the treatment site, so you should be sure to follow Dr. Diktaban’s instructions. This includes avoiding certain skincare products and strenuous activities.

It can take a few weeks before swelling fully subsides, and most patients see final results within six months. Because AccuTite treats the deep layers of the skin, most patients need only one treatment session to obtain a youthful skin tone that won’t make you look “worked on.”

Cocktail Anesthesia

Cocktail anesthesia is Dr. Diktaban’s preferred tool for ensuring your procedure is relaxing and low-risk. Dr. Diktaban has used cocktail anesthesia for surgical procedures for over 10 years with resounding success. Patients are safe and comfortable during the entire procedure. It is predictable and consistent for men and women of all ages. There are no IVs or any tubes down your nose or throat. Patients describe the experience as “floating comfortably”. Patients are even allowed and instructed to have a light breakfast before coming to the office for their procedure. The cocktail anesthesia entails the ingestion of a few pills followed by two medicine injections into the arm. One big advantage with cocktail anesthesia is that during body contouring procedures, the patients are able to turn their body into different positions that enables Dr. Diktaban to sculpt their bodies in an enhanced manner. The following list of procedures can be performed under cocktail anesthesia: browlifts, facelifts, eyelid lifts, necklifts, liposuction, BBLs (buttock enlargement), fat transfer to the breasts, breast lifts, FaceTite, AccuTite, and BodyTite.  Learn more about how cocktail anesthesia can transform your surgical experience during your consultation.
