AccuTite

Sometimes, it’s the details that matter most. Especially when it comes to your face, feeling like anyone only sees certain areas can take a toll on your confidence. Although surgery is an effective way to refine areas like the eyes or brow, not everyone is willing or able to undergo surgery. This means that mini-surgical options like AccuTite™ can be an excellent way to improve small, fine areas of the face without the need for downtime or risks.

What is AccuTite?

AccuTite uses the same revolutionary technology as BodyTite™, using a micro-incision and radiofrequency-assisted energy to reduce small pockets of fat and tighten loose skin. Radiofrequency energy comes with a couple benefits— firstly, it can liquefy fat cells to easily remove pockets of fat like eye bags, a double chin, and jowls. Secondly, radiofrequency energy generates gentle heat to tighten skin and stimulate new collagen production. This means that AccuTite can be an extremely effective option for a mini-surgical eyelid lift, removing a double chin, and flattening fatty jowls. The overall effect is tighter, smoother skin for a rejuvenated profile free of fatty tissue.

AccuTite Candidates

Patients who benefit most from AccuTite are those looking for effective anti-aging treatments that don’t require surgical incisions or extensive downtime. AccuTite can be a great option for mild to moderate wrinkles and sagging fat, but Dr. Diktaban can assess whether a surgical procedure may be more in line with your goals. For example, if you have significant sagging or laxity, you may need a facelift or brow lift for best results. As with any cosmetic procedure, you should be in good overall health to be considered a candidate for AccuTite.

What Happens During AccuTite?

AccuTite can be performed with a local anesthetic at our certified, in-house facility. Once you’re comfortable, a tiny, undetectable incision is made so that a specialized handpiece with an electrode can be inserted under the skin. The electrode administers radiofrequency energy to generate heat, liquefying fat cells and causing contraction. It also monitors temperature to ensure the surrounding skin isn’t damaged. Depending on your treatment areas, this can take from fifteen minutes to one hour. Afterward, you’ll be made ready for your recovery and return home.

Results and Recovery

You can expect to take one or two days away from work after AccuTite treatment. You’ll experience some minor redness and swelling at the treatment site, so you should be sure to follow Dr. Diktaban’s instructions. This includes avoiding certain skincare products and strenuous activities. It can take a few weeks before swelling fully subsides, and most patients see final results within six months. Because AccuTite treats the deep layers of the skin, most patients need only one treatment session.

What do I need to do to prepare for treatment?

During your consultation with Dr. Diktaban, you’ll receive instructions to follow to get ready for your treatment. Although it’s a mini-surgical procedure, it’s still important to prepare your skin and take certain steps. This includes stopping smoking and avoiding blood thinners ahead of your appointment. You should also review your skincare regimen with Dr. Diktaban to determine whether you should stop using active ingredients ahead of your procedure date.

Will I have scars?

AccuTite requires tiny incisions that are nearly invisible. However, if you’re susceptible to scarring, Dr. Diktaban can recommend your best options. This might include silicone scar treatments during your recovery period or even professional skincare treatments to reduce pigmentation. During the procedure, Dr. Diktaban can ensure that the tiny incisions are easily concealable or hidden within the natural contours of the body or face.
